"I Co-founded the practice in 1993 with Juliet; over the years that have followed I have been able to develop further the interests I had in a number of areas.
These include Posture, so often forgotten, considered as old fashioned and yet has such a bearing on so many symptoms.
Running and runners is another interest with my knowledge greatly increased by training and running in the 2006 London Marathon.
Lastly the Pelvis which can have such an influence on knee, back and hip problems."

Co-founder of Bedford Physiotherapy Centre with Rebecca in 1993. Worked several years in the NHS before starting in the private sector. Now working exclusively at the Centre with specific interests in Chronic pain management and Acupuncture.
Acupuncture – Is one of the modalities we use to treat chronic pain (as well as acute pain). “I, like many of my patients, was quite sceptical about its success but over the years I have not ceased to be amazed at how effective it can be. Unfortunately it does not help everyone, but if you have a chronic pain it is definitely worth a try! E.g. on the knee.”
General Musculoskeletal problems – “As with all our staff I have experience in treating a wide variety of conditions including frozen shoulders (capsulitis), muscle tears, sprained ankles and trapped nerves to mention a few.”

I qualified in 1982 so have been practicing as a Chartered Physiotherapist for many years both in the NHS and private practice. I gained my Acupuncture qualification in 1998 and this has become a special interest. The more I use Acupuncture the more amazed I am by its benefits to the patient.
I have a special interest in stroke rehabilitation and do all the domiciliary visits (treatment in the patient’s own home) for the clinic.
I also have an interest in respiratory care and hyper ventilation treatment. I also treat all musculoskeletal problems and have a broad experience in this area.
